Test 1: Create New Status

1. Navigate to Project Settings → Tasks tab
2. Click "Add Status" button

7. Click "Create Status"
8. Verify success toast appears
9. Verify dialog closes
10. Verify new status appears in the list

Test 2: Edit Existing Status

1. Click edit button on a custom status
2. Verify dialog opens with "Edit Status" title
3. Verify form is pre-filled with current values
4. Verify "Set as default" checkbox is visible
5. Change the name and/or color
6. Verify live preview updates
7. Click "Update Status"
8. Verify success toast appears
9. Verify changes are reflected in the list

Test 3: Name Validation

1. Open add status dialog
2. Try to submit with empty name → Should show error
3. Enter a name longer than 50 characters → Should show error
4. Enter a duplicate name (case-insensitive) → Should show error
5. Verify character counter updates as you type
6. Verify submit button is disabled when invalid

Test 4: Color Validation

1. Open add status dialog
2. Click different palette colors → Should update preview
3. Enter invalid hex code (e.g., "red") → Should show error
4. Enter valid hex code (e.g., "#FF5733") → Should update preview
5. Use native color picker → Should update hex input and preview

Test 5: Cancel Action

1. Open add status dialog
2. Enter some data
3. Click "Cancel" button
4. Verify dialog closes without saving
5. Verify no status was created

Test 6: Set as Default (Edit Mode)

1. Edit a custom status
2. Check "Set as default" checkbox
3. Save the status
